Raw macadamia nuts fall from the feeding hopper via a vibrating feeder, evenly sliding through precision chutes to form a single-layer material stream. As nuts pass the detection zone, high-speed cameras capture real-time optical data of each kernel and transmit signals to the intelligent processing chip. Once moldy, discolored, damaged or foreign impurities are recognized, high-speed electromagnetic ejectors release instantaneous compressed air blasts to blow defective materials into the reject bin, while intact premium nuts slide into the finished product outlet automatically.
